LPG to be The Motorcycle Fuel

The new invention of transportation created by a student of UNS had been exposed at Science and Flagship Product Exhibition on Monday, March 11^th 2013. This invention used Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as the main fuel.

Unlike the other transportations, the motorcycle utilized the gas taken from LPG to activate the engine and produced it into fuel. The LPG tube was placed on the back of motorcycle and then its gas was distributed using long hose through LPG carburator, gas valve and vacuum valve.

Lalus Setiyono, the student of Engineering Education and also the inventor, said his invention had the excesses better than the general transportations, they were :

1. 1.      More Economic
2. 2.      Friendly Environment
3. 3.      The price of LPG is cheeper than the price of BBM
4. 4.      The density of LPG is lighter so it makes more safe.

He also said the motorcycle would be exploded more so that its use could be easier and more efficient. “In this time, I just create it as the part of my thesis. I will try to move the LPG tube into the engine and develop more.” He explained.
